Something Fishy Here?

by Lapel Pin Guru on March 9, 2010

Years ago, I reviewed the national bestseller FISH! (The book inspired a popular observation of workers in Seattle's Pike Place Market Fish) to add to our site over 100 book reviews. In my travels since, I met a lot of mixed reactions to this story. Based on the worldwide popularity of this similarity, I must admit I was a bit 'surprised by the large number of negative responses come from a wide range of readers and evaluations. The views contained "ultralight", "no real substance," "See Spot Run Business of American literature," "rebuilt Mush together", and "feely sensitive", to name a few.

Struck from the operation of this book apparently also offended many people. It 'clear that some of these ideas are extremely critical. call this negative reaction, why can not another book that has received the response, as the guide is a reminder opposite ends of the satisfaction spectrum. Although many people who agree with the sentiments above are met, I find it very difficult to obtain positive effects of the past, this book has had on readers and bodies everywhere! Consider the fact that the acceptance of this huge book led to the publication of two additional volumes in the series: FISH! Tales and FISH! Sticks.
